Natureful cities is a concept for developing better, more sustainable and more resilient cities through the intensification of natural green elements, such as urban forests, waterways, and animal habitats. A key aspect of this concept is that it is targeted towards a segment of the world’s urban population that are often neglected or overlooked: the inhabitants of cities in the developing world, residents of informal settlements and slums, and the urban poor.

This website has been created with two key purposes: first, as a scrapbook or laboratory in which the ideas of natureful cities can be explored and developed; and second, as a platform from which these ideas can be communicated and shared to a wider audience.
